Democratic Socialism

This is the ideal situation for any country, a Democratic Socialist, will see that the economic environment works equally well for both the Capitalist interests and for the peoples interest, that both may profit.

Capitalism

Capitalism can be good and 'profitable' for a country, every country needs to produce goods, at a profit, and the country's people need jobs. Any depression or recession ends with the factories starting back up and the people going back to work, these are the wheels of a thriving economy.

But capitalism unchecked, can go wild, and totally destroy the very economy that it helped to build. Some unconscionable capitalist would pay a wage of one dollar an hour, part time, to avoid paying an employees healthcare, without the slightest concern that the wage is unlivable, and demand that their homeless employee, take a shower before work; if their were no minimum wage laws. The fact that the minimum wage is itself unlivable, or that the children of their employee's go hungry, does not concern them, any attempt to raise the minimum wage, they will fight against the bill with every thing that they got.

They fight every socialistic program that is in effect, and functioning, like the Affordable Care Act (ACA Obama Care), Social Security and Medicare.

Commune's and 'Christ-Socialism'

Some of us may remember the hippy communes of the sixty's, especially the one of Charles Manson and his followers. That was a very bad example, but at the same time, hundred's of communes around the USA and the world, lived in peace together, and some communes that are based on religion, Israel, for example, has many, work very well together.

Merriam Webster Dictionary, defines a commune as a group of people who live together and share responsibilities and possessions. Not all communes are 100% socialistic.

The oldest communes, as recorded in the Bible, the book of Acts, were Christian communes, founded by the disciples of Jesus. No doubt because of what Jesus told the rich man.

Matt.19:21 Jesus said unto him, "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me." Not to take this verse out of context, but you can get the full context from reading Matt.19:16 - 26. We may find this just as hard to do as "Plucking out an eye, if it offends thee.", but that does not keep me from following Jesus as best as I can. The 1st Christian commune's were very socialistic, but considering that Christian were being persecuted, and thrown to the lions, no doubt it was needed.

Our constitution drafted by our forefathers who ... ".. wrought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal," ... Does not protect us from extreme socialism, and does not protect us from extreme capitalism, and both can lead to slavery.

Some commune's can be really difficult to leave, and some have children born and raised into the commune, who have no idea of how the outside world works, no job training, no contact with the outside. Brainwashed to believe that the outside world is evil. They have no way to secure a future outside of the commune. There are ways that a person can be held prisoner, even with no bars on the windows.

Socialism VS Communism

Communism is a program where the state owns the people, provides all of their basic needs, for food, shelter, clothing, in return for their labor. But the people are not free, and there is little if any, difference between it and slavery. The 'state' country, also owns land, factory's, oil, ships, planes, cars, and virtually everything.

The people are not free to disagree, to do so, probably would mean death to them.

Horrible History

This is a long quote by Daniel Pose - ""Socialist" is what Germans under Adolf Hitler called themselves. It is what Soviets under Stalin called themselves, too. And German socialists used the swastika symbol to represent crossed "S" letters, for their socialist dogma.

Hitler's Germans did not call themselves "Fascists" nor "Nazis" (so the definitions of these words is misleading and promotes widespread ignorance among people who attended government schools, (socialist schools) - Those other definitions are deceptively written to never mention that Germans under Hitler actually called themselves socialist.)"

I can understand why a guy like Hitler, in trying to get elected by the German people, would want to refer to himself as a 'socialist' he sure would not want to refer to himself as a 'dictator', 'madman', or monster; true though it may have been, but to be a 'socialist', meaning 'for the people', is what lead the German people to elect him, they did not know him, or that he lied to them.
